Appropriate classroom behavior is VERY important in the kindergarten/TK classroom. Not only will it ensure a positive and productive classroom environment, it also sets the tone and classroom expectations for the remainder of their elementary years!
Our kindergarten/TK classrooms follow the clip chart behavior system. The rules, consequences, and clip chart will be explained below. |
Rules
1. Follow directions the first time 2. Don't hurt other in the inside or the outside 3. Raise your hand to talk 4. Always try to do our best 5. Tell the truth 6. Show respect whe we work together |
Consequences
When a student breaks a rule or causes a disruption in class s/he will be asked to clip down on our chart. Occurrences will be documented, and repeated infractions may be sent to the principal's office.
